I am a molecular ecologist and evolutionary biologist interested in understanding how evolutionary processes might aid conservation efforts. I earned my PhD from the University of Wyoming where I studied conservation genomics and phylogenetics of cutthroat trout. My work in the lab focuses on understanding the repeatability of local adaptation in beetles based on intentionally introduced wild populations and captive experimental lines (in partnership with the Berger lab). When I’m away from work I enjoy being outside, taking photos of small things, and entertaining my cats.
