Hi, I’m Palak! I’m a second-year Ecosystem Sciences student at the University of Göttingen DE, with a growing interest in understanding the genetic and genomic basis of the natural world, evolutionary processes, diversification, and responses to rapid anthropogenic changes. My current work involves photographing and digitising Euphydryas editha butterfly specimens, followed by phenotypic analyses of wing size and coloration patterns across different host plants and environmental gradients. When I’m not in the lab you can usually find me in front of my piano, or outdoors hiking, birding or taking pictures.
